Tonor Professional Condensor Microphone Review

This is cheap for a condenser microphone, but it doesn’t
sound that way. If you’re looking for a budget mic for YouTube or podcasting
this is definitely a good choice.

Included in the box you get the microphone itself, a shock
mount, a windshield and an XLR to 3.5mm cable. With this being a condenser mic
I’d definitely recommend using a phantom power source - otherwise it’s going to
be very quiet and need a lot of amplification, but this is expected. Personally
I’m using phantom power and have the microphone hooked up to the phantom power
unit using an XLR to XLR cable.

The recording is very clear and for £30 I was pretty
impressed. It is clear and has great sound. I think this is an excellent mic
for someone looking to get in to podcasting or YouTube videos. This performs
really well when recording narration and spoken word and so is perfect for
these categories and importantly doesn’t pick up much background noise.

On top of this I also really like the way the microphone
looks with its burgundy brushed metal. Obviously this doesn’t impact the
performance but it’s always nice to have something good looking.
